My floor tiles grout is cracking

no matter how many times I redo it

it was like this when I moved in (rented)

I can’t seem to get it to work
Properly

other areas I’ve done like behind the sink and toilet , where we don’t walk are either not cracked at all or very barely

is this my poor grout mixing or a bad grout ?

or is it cracking due to movement/ wet?

realy starting to
Get me down

is the floor showing even the slightest signs of moving underfoot?
is there any sound when you step on these tiles?
have you checked for any leaks at fixture supplies or WC connections?

failing any of the above then rake out the in-place grout and vacuum up the debris.
get a small bag of powdered grout, and read the instructions, and then follow them to a Tee.
mix and apply small quantities of grout.
leave it for the instructed time, and then gently wipe over with a damp sponge.
keep washing and almost drying the sponge.

Afraid to say i reckon you're tiles are loose. Seen this hundred's of times. Tap the tiles. Do they sound hollow? Get someone to stand on them whilst you are on you're knees and look at the joints. Can you see movement? Grout is pretty tough stuff but it won't hold tiles together if they are loose and flexible grout is flexible at a molecular level, its not so flexible that you can see/feel it.
