Hello All

Maybe this is a stupid question - hopefully I'll find out !

So have an integrated DIN15R11 and I just powered it on without water or drainage connected. I just wanted to see if it would basically start and maybe complain about no water to give me confidence there is no issue before it gets integrated into the kitchen.

Anyway, when plugged in all the LEDs flash, then it beeps and then it turns off. None of the soft buttons on the top do anything and there is no further response.

Could this be normal if it doesn't have water connected and is there anything I can do to troubleshoot more?

Thanks a lot in advance for any constructive advice.

Well I've just done some more tests and not sure what to think.

Its an integrated dishwasher with soft buttons at the top. I've now realised that if I open the dishwasher door, the buttons work fine! SO it wasn't turning off after all just it was that the buttons including on/off were unresponsive with the door closed. Very odd.

In fact if after pressing a few buttons happily with the door open, I then go and close the door, I get one more press of any button on the panel before it seems to lock up and not let me press any more buttons until I open the door again.

Phone up their useless support number as under warranty, good luck.

Beko is cheap with woeful support, i just bought a tall basic fridge 2 months knowing this, however i will not be buying other appliances off them.

In case anyone else reads this and wants a more helpful answer I think the issue is simply that when an integrated dishwasher door is closed, the buttons are not normally accessible and so don't need to be active. The instructions don't say they are not active with the door closed so I don't know for sure if this is the correct behaviour but it seems plausible.

I did a quick test out of the box and made the hopefully wrong assumption that something was faulty as it was totally unresponsive.

Thank God I didn't need to telephone their warranty support. Is it really that bad?
