Opinions re the new Worcester Bosch 2000 series combi?

If you are going to use plastic, why use nasty Toys R Us plastic that literally crumbles in your hands like sand? Surely there is a tougher plastic that is more resilient to heat, pressure and chemicals?

Different engineers complain that Worcester Bosch plastic flow turbine adaptor disintegrates way too easily - see it in action here:

Surely you can't defend this choice of plastic? My boiler of choice? I would recommend Worcester Bosch the moment the mile long list of schoolboy errors have been dealt with.
You need to spend less time on YouTube adopting the views of others and form an opinion of your own. The majority of your videos are from the same guy who obviously has an issue with Worcester.

The new Worcester's still have plastic manifolds and plastic flow turbine adapters....

Intergas... the thinking man's choice ;)
Good thinking. A boiler manufacturer who sends their engineers out to invalidate warranties. Expensive parts and long wait times on deliveries of said parts. That'll lead to happy happy customers.

See every manufacturer have their faults

Boiler in my own property. 5 visits under a 5 year guarantee, 3 diverter cartridges on a BRASS block, 1 PCB 1 gas valve and I've just changed the fan and it's 8 year old. Nearly every major component failed.

Not sure why people have a problem with plastics. They usually have many superior properties which make them better suited to the job or the manufacturing process. Materials technology has come a long way which is why we see such a variety of uses for various blends these days.
Worcester plastics fail regularly. I agree composites are good. Worcester’s however are not.

Yep WB plastic components are a joke, with the flow sensor, diverter valve and hydro block all housed in plastic and they all eventually fail with fractures and seal wear.
Not to mention nearly all the water carrying connections are push and clip fit,
But I,m not complaining repairing them is good money.
