Well done Keith. Love people like you who give up their time for others.

Been a Scout leader for a Year and a Half now, went Abseiling last year at Mallaham Cove and for someone who's scared of heights that was an eye opener.

We are out most weeks on night hikes etc, off to Gillwell this year for their summer holiday (where scouts started).

I must admit I'm knackered on a Friday night but when you get out again it's all good.

Ended up welding the Minibus up as well, took 4 of my Sundays off but went straight though MOT and saved them a fortune so worth it in the end.

Some of our kids don't get away for summer holidays etc so at least they get a few camps in with their mates.

Most sections are looking for helpers (even occasional), we have a waiting list for new kids which is a real shame.

You really are a sorry excuse for a human being..

Resorting to personal insults is a well trodden path used by those who cannot back up their statements, you do not know me or what I do, all I asked for was some evidence but you have danced around this for some time, and trying to divert attention by boasting about your good works, which may be a fantasy as well as your theories about the BBC

I like the BBC . Tis a traditional British instsitution ;)

Like the Royal family

Fish and chips

Sunday Roast

Pubs

I don't believe the majority of English citizens are Cons.

The Cons did however get nearly half the votes in the 2019 election.

So it would be more accurate to say "we are in England a majority of Not Conservatives."

Very naughty John. Neither you nor anyone else has a claim to votes not cast. I've told you this before.

Don't worry about it, delusional JohnD still thinks 'remain' won the referendum. Best just to smile and humour them, pretend you're talking to someone with 'special needs', I do it all the time, it's fun.

:rolleyes::LOL::LOL:

The only good part is Friday evening Radio1 from 7 - 11. Pete Tong etc.

Not my cup of tea but glad you enjoy it. For me it is Tony Blackburn R2 Saturday morning; Paul Gambaccini R2 Saturday afternoon, and Clare Teal R2 Sunday night.

I have loved the BBC in the past, but don't now. It has been taken over and is under occupation. It owns probably the greatest archive of popular and not-so-popular entertainment and culture in the world; but sadly a lot of that archive cannot currently be used by the BBC, as it represents British tradition, and British tradition is currently despised by the BBC.

Good for you and them .......Malham Cove used to be a water fall recently for the first time water was seen flowing from the top .....as I recall it's never been seen before.

Has nobody watch King Gary on the beeb? I thought a few builders on here might identify with him. Mind you, the lingo is a bit Essex/East London so some on here might not understand or recognise some of the phrases. Bloody funny though.

A country needs an independent source of news reporting not tied to any corporate or you will just have big business slanting news in their favour.

Facts will be suppressed and the public will just be manipulted or polarise. Democracy no more.

You can have discussion, its healthy but not if you cannot agree on facts. The denial of basic facts and understanding because it doesnt suit your argument is a dangerous path to tred down.
