Get drawers to slide more smoothly

I got an old chest of drawers and the drawers are sticking. I applied bees' wax and that helped a bit but it's still not sliding smoothly. Could anyone suggest a solution that works?

No, just get a candle and rub it on the draw runners and the guides on the draw unit. Push the draw in and out and see how it goes.

or talc, which I prefer. You can sprinkle, or rub it on with your finger or a brush.
