7 year old Vokera Compact 28SE losing pressure after CH turned off. Primary and secondary expansion vessels checked and recharged. Minor pipework leak corrected. PRV replaced. Needing to top up every day then works fine. No obvious sign internal boiler leak. Time to replace? Any thoughts? Cheers

Does pressure raise to around 3 bar when heating has been on for a good while ? If so EV 's are suspect. If not ,suspect heat ex has a pin hole and water being evacuated via condensate pipework.

As your boiler is the SE you wont have any condensate pipework, but the heat exchanger could very well be pinholed and you wouldnt really see any water, but as @terryplumb says set the pressure at 1.5Bar cold and then put the CH on for 20 mins and check the pressure again if it is near the 3 Bar mark you have an expansion problem

Hi, I'm sorry for throwing question under probably wrong thread.
I have vokera compact 24 mtn which is loosing pressure every 48 hours, I have to refill.
I am refilling to 2 bars, but after switching on heating pressure raising up to 3 bars.
any idea?
Thanks

Possibly an expansion vessel problem. When cold ,pressure doesn't need to be 2 bar. Set it at 1 bar.
When pressure gets to ,or close to 3 bar, the PRV ( pressure relief valve) will open and allow water out of the system to reduce pressure.
Check the PRV pipe work outside to see if water is emitting from it .

you have an expansion problem either a flat vessel or blocked communication hose/pipe

Sorry for being dumb, but water should come out?
I'm in apartment, but will be able to see from balcony in daytime.

Is it something that can be fixed ? Would be big job?
Asking because I'm renting out this flat and landlady isn't the easiest to deal with..
