I want to replace the flex in all the standard ceiling pendants in my house (the short length between ceiling rose and bulb holder) as they are really discoloured. After decorating, the discolouration stands out. The roses and bayonet lamp holders are still good as new.

Can the experts tell me what size white round 2 core flex I need to buy? I see Screwfix do a 5 metre length of 0.75mm flex - is this the right spec? Or do I need something different size?

Thanks for any help.

If bulb holder is plastic then yes any 2 core 0.75mm flex is perfect.
If bulb holder is metal (or lamp needs an earth then any 2 core + earth 0.75mm flex is perfect.

If you want it to look neat, make sure you get round flex. Oval doesn't look good in this application.
