Looking for some advice.
want to buy a house and put a 2 storey extension on the back; 3m x 3m on the right hand side.
I am concerned about one thing. The drain next to the area I want to extend on. What do I need to do?

Build it on the left hand side instead.
I'd be more concerned whether the house could be extended first, rather that the technicalities of moving a drain - which will involve the same amount of guesswork as "how long is that piece of string hanging off the fence?"
That's another "How long is this piece of entwined cotton" question.
Covenants, easements, deed conditions, bye-laws, planning conditions, planning permissions, builder's contract of sale, water company build over permission.
Do a loft conversion, no drains up there.

As far as I can see ( with that angled on plan house ) a new 2 storey extension would be obstructing the windows to the left part of the house wouldn't it
