Hi

Anyone on here install a ring alarm with cctv or a ring doorbell?

Just looking to see how people find them.

Thanks

Yep, had a ring pro at the last house and was spot on. Also fitted the floodlight cam at the rear.

Wifi signal can be an issue so give thought to your router position and you may need a WiFi extender.

Good quality, support seemed reasonable the one time I contacted them. It was £8.00 per month for both the doorbell and camera to access recordings.
Personally that felt like a **** take after spending the best part of £500.
Have the floodlight cam at this house but don’t subscribe as we have cctv aswell.

Defo going to get the doorbell but might install CCTV.

What CCTV you have? Did you install it?

It’s an alien Hero DVR with 3 cameras. When we viewed the house we were aware of the cameras but didn’t give it much thought. It wasn’t until 2-3 days after we moved in we found the DVR and were able to make sense of it all.

It was a professional install and there is a phone app to remotely view the cameras so everything I need really. I am not sure how old it is but found it useable and spot on for an amateur

I have the Ring 2 doorbell.......it’s brilliant, we use it in conjunction with the Chime pro.
Definitely recommend
