Looking to replace this tray, been in since '92. Its about 74cm both ways.

Are ceramic trays better than fibreglass?

Ceramic trays are super expensive. The most robust trays, at a more reasonable price these days, are stone resin

Yep, that doesn't look too bad and the integrated riser kit is the 1st I've seen that may stand up to the job tbh.

Is there a Mira Flight tray available for you?
Stone resin, excellent quality and includes the drain rose.....if you want it raised, make a timber plinth, forget about upstands.
John :)

I've had a look at the Mira Flight options. I know they're are the top gun of showers.
Lots to consider but I need to get the old tray out first and assess the job.

Thanks All for posting!

Coram vs the Mira Flight, I think the Mira is the better.

The Mira has wide edges that will mate and seal against the tile trims. The Corum has a lip on all the round.

MDF board underneath on riser feet to support the tray.

The old tray will cut out.

Shower or trays?

Shower's then you're up there with the Aqualisa/Grohe/Hansgrohe.

Trays .... top end for me are Villeroy and Boch, they have some lovely trays. They also specialise in ultra low level porcelain and enameled steel channeled trays.

Don't get me wrong Mira trays are nice but they are mid range

How do Fresssh products stack up in the grand scheme of plumbing?

This tray, C/W with drain and riser kit seem comparable to Mira.
