Given that its a lean to closed at one end (with fence side gate and shiplap above), the amount of light and the heat are not issues between opal and clear.
Neighbours on other side of the road will be looking at it from their kitchen window, and on approach to the house from the West you see it face on (5x4m).
Clear will show the construction of the framework, combi flue extension, extractor pipework, and other tat we've slung under the joists (not so good on the eye).. So am tempted to paint as much of it white to blend with the house wall(white), if we get clear.
Clear will also show the clothes lines strung under the high edge of the roof against the house- main reason for building the thing... A constant multicolored blur flapping about..
Opal will obscure much of the above, I think...., BUT will show dirt etc more and might look more crappy/plasticy?
This means less need to paint the framework etc.
Anyone have any ideas of which colour is better for other reasons..?
We shan't be underneath it with tables/chairs. Purely a utility area...
Thanks for any input.
