The parachute deployed at launch. The rocket flew but the poor bugger had nothing to bring him down safely :( RIP Mad Mike

His parachute went far too early. Who'd have thought that a flat earther might have been a bit slack on the details.

Not nice for anyone to die before they have to, but he literally brought this on himself.

So, taking stuff you're told and for arguments sake discarding it (or just ignoring it) how do you personally satisfy yourself the world is not flat, no cheating now.[/B]

Physics degree, orbital mechanics, planetary motion, space exploration. Could be all hokum. Which by extension means I might have buried my parents alive when their times came, cos how can I believe- my own eyes, medical science and a death certificate. ****, won't sleep tonight now!

Its clear if you ever go out on the sea. Or even find a long flat stretch.

The top of the mast is visible before the body of the ship. The same goes for landmarks, you see the top before the bottom of them.

Ok, there's a curved edge, before everything drops off, doesn't mean the world is round. Ever actually seen it for yourself?

... Then you sail to the "edge" and there's no edge there...
