I have an internal bedroom wall that had very flaky paint on in large patches. To get it off I have sanded the wall back to the plaster ready to be re-painted. Will the wall need resealing with a PVA / water mix or can it be painted straight back on?

Use watered down emulsion on the first coat. Anything around 30/70 water to emulsion will be fine.
Never use PVA on bare plaster.
