Can anyone give me pointers as to what to fault find regarding this error code.

Machine has been in storage in a house for about 7 years and was used only half dozen times before that. Taken out of storage and tried three times now to do a quick 30 minute cycle and it gets halfway through before two loud clicks can be heard inside the machine and this error code flashes up.

Machine has to be turned off at mains to reset. Pump did have hair grip in when i checked but with this cleared it still occurs. No other obstrctions in the drum can be seen and the pipe to and from the pump has been cleaned and checked. Have taken pump off to test on bench but if it runs ok, has anyone any idea what to check next?

kind regards

Have you checked the machine drains ok when you switch on the drain cycle?

No, i didnt know there was a drain cycle tbh......

The machine doesnt seem to drain, i have to empty the water manually when i get the fault code and at the time the fault code happens its when i presume the cycle is ready to dump water ready for a refill/top up (if this is how they work).

just tested the pump, runs fine on bench. I think the two loud clicks a second before the fault mode are a big clue maybe?

Check the drain pipe isnt blocked from the machine and also where it drains into

I think F05 is the pressure switch jammed on, but I would have thought it would not start a cycle with that problem as it will prevent the correct amount of water going into the drum.
Where was the machine stored, if it was not inside I would check the pcb & other control items for things like slugs attaching themselves.
Also have you checked if the water inlet valve for correct operation.
