That's the predecessor to my model, so older CPU and software and less memory.
 
Yes, I know. More than a year and I'm still looking.

I have given up looking for a tablet. What I want does not exist.

So i am looking for a phone close to 7'', but, as I am super clumsy and drop them all the time, I can't have glass-backed phones.
I also need dual SIM.
I have looked at Sammy A70 (6.7'') and brands I have never heard of like Oukitel and Umidigi.
Guess what I'm asking is has anybody got an obscure brand of phone and are they any good?

That’s the one thing you may have to compromise on as most new, large screen phones support wireless/reverse charging so will be glass backed. Perhaps get a good shockproof case?
 
There are quite a few shockproof cases of various manufacture around,but they are mainly for the flagship models Apple, Sammy S10/20 and Note 10.

I have seen the cheaper ones and they are not a patch on (say) Ballistic Tough Jacket Maxx or Otterbox Defender at protecting the contents.

A nurse knocked my Samsung phone (wearing a Ballistic Tough Jacket case) off a second floor windowsill onto a concrete path and it survived no problem.
