Hellooo

Currently got a concrete slab floor in conservatory with tiles straight over.

Tiles are only thin so no great benefits removing to gain a few mm. I dont think?

Currently got about 25/26mm space. I was looking at insualtion then chipbaord and then carpet but don't have the depth. Would I be best just sticking some 18mm chipboard down on top of tiles and then use some good underlay and carpet to help keep the heat in and make the room a bit more warm feeling?

Any other suggestions welcome

Thanks

Yeah got a new insulated roof going on, so hopefully with that and some carpet on floor itll be more usable. Just going to board and carpet it I reckon

Decided to just use some basic 6mm thick foam floor insulation, then 11mm osb board. Then some decent 8mm underlay and carpet. Got to be better than it is now

Cheers :)
