Slight changes after larger Permitted development approval

Had the larger permitted development approval through that of course includes a Neighbour consultation.

Looking at making a few minor changes include a few millimetres on eaves Height ( to fit taller doors ) and possibly slightly wider.

Its all still easily within larger Permitted guidelines but is this ok or not ? Haven’t started the work yet so information gathering.

No one will ever measure it unless a neighbour complains, and even then they probably won't. I presume you neighbours are OK with it if you have been through consultation. If its literally a few mm then that is within building tolerance anyway.
 
A rule-of-thumb is that no one's going to bother with any discrepancy less than 75mm, but in practice, it's more about context and things lining up, or not lining up, and whether anyone could evem notice, or be bothered.

The long and short of it is you should only build to what Planning has been approved for, even Lawful Development Certificate/Prior Approval applications. Any changes to any type of application should go back through the formal approval process. Better to deal with it sooner rather than later, especially if time permits. It could be a bit of a headache along with additional costs in dealing with it down the line.
 
Depends how minor the changes are and how much wider it is but you say it is still within Permitted Development guidelines :!:

Decided to build as per plans as struggling to get definitive answers about tolerance.The official line is there isn’t any which of course is fair enough.

Still can’t can’t find a current official guide on how to measure eaves height though.Is it soffits? Overhang ? Roof meets wall? And measured from the “highest part of the natural ground “ That could change during the project if you landscape etc.

A bit ambiguous really
 
Why not just go for what you want to build and consult your neighbours as you did before, if your changes are fairly minor as you say and it is still Permitted Development what is the problem likely to be ?
 
I thought Permitted Development didn't need approval :!:

larger Permitted requires neighbour consultation a process that takes 42 days.

it isn’t that different to full planning
