Bathroom in hip end loft, where to start?

My final room on the house, a bathroom into here:

The floor joists are 8x2 and I want to build the walls above 2 of them.

Should I pull up the floor where the bathroom will be and build directly off the joist and would I have the then sister them so the floor can sit back on?

I’m going to build the walls out of 3x2.

Could I clad the hips or should I be loosing them in the insulation?

I'd start with 110mm WC waste and work from there.

Build the studs off the floor deck.

Theres a couple of foot of brick wall for the waste so that should be quite easy.

So best to put my plumbing in, put the floor back down and then fix the bottom of the wall through the floor and into the joist?

I’d first fix all the rest of the plumbing too as your starting point, for which you’ll want to know where all hot and cold feeds and wastes are going to go. So Any tricky bits/boxing out needed you get out the way before plastering/tiling
I normally find this involves actually buying all the suite and stuff, but guess you could go off instruction diagrams

Consider building the walls between two joists supported on noggins if you have any concerns about the load on a single joist.

The walls are going to weigh less than Ian's right leg.

Decide the WC position, the subsequent waste and the door opening and work from there. Carcass out the plumbing items then finish the floor and build the walls.
