Hi All,

In the process of tiling our downstairs hallway, which will meet the laminate from the downstairs toilet.

As per attached, I need to trim back the laminate but how far do I go? I’ve pencilled a line which is essentially to the front of the door but thinking about it, that line should be directly under the door (in the middle) allowing the threshold bar to be completely hidden and underneath the door when shut.

Is that right?

Yes ideally centre, but also ok inside , still keeps clean line to hallway .

Aim to position the bar directly under the doorway so that it is not observable from either side of the door when the door is shut and trim the floor accordingly.
