Just going back to the early images for internal flue, Do you really think and to pinpoint that caulk will be best for the internal flue to plasterboard wall as per my internal picture?

Is this normally a painters job, who normally looks after dents on walls etc reason why I ask this.

So it probably is sealed, sorry, I thought I'd see the sealant but obviously not.

I really have no idea. It is a simple fix, don't worry about it. Speak to the builders(?) in the first instance and ask for it to be repaired. Let them deal with it.
