indesit fridge freezer not working

our fridge freezer stopped working although there was power going to it. We turned it off for two days and has now started to work again.
Why would this be and can we restock it again without the worry of it happening again

Because you defrosted it most likely, which should be done on a regular basis ( see user guide ) unless, yes, it will happen again.
