I went to the main Tesco at head office Cheshunt today. Its a big one. Not lots of people and shelves alot more full than I expected. Maybe now the schools are closed and we are closer to lock down things will calm down

The video of that nurse crying, thats being repeated up and down the country. Key staff are being pummelled.

So we have our pubs full and our supermarkets empty. Takes a poor messaging strategy to achieve that.

I am trying to panic buy pints of lager but each time I go to the loo in the pub my stock seems to disappear.
 
I wonder what sort of panic buying /drinking would ensue if they announce all pubs & bars would close midnight saturday - there would be some carnage in a one last night on the town.

The carnage will be when they all turn up at the hospital in 2 weeks time.

Tell me about it. I have just finished self isolating and only just got back in to popping in to the pub on the way home. I hasten to add that at this time of the day there are only 7 people in the pub. The nearest person is 3m away from me. On my way home from work the person on the bus was 2cm away from me.
