Hi

I have noticed that my boiler earth maybe isn't as big as it should be. It's maybe 6mm? and should be 10mm?
Should I replace this with larger ca

Cable measurements refer to cross sectional area of the conductor not diameter.

Yeah I kind of thought that even so the tape measure is useful to see the size of the cable isn't it? Does it looks ample size?

Yes if you multiply your measurement by 3.142 & take off a bit for the insulation I would guess it would come out at about 16mm. I also think the cable is bonding your water pipe not earthing the boiler, so not a problem as long as both ends are connected properly.

You do not need a wire from the boiler to the pipe.

The pipe might require a bonding conductor from its point of entry to the premises to the Main Earthing Terminal near the meter or consumer unit.

Yeah there is a silver adjusters clip on end of pipe with the earth wire on other end going back to consumer unit. Water pipe is other side of house..
It looks ok then I'll just leave it!

Thanks
