I have an MX NU-WAY burner and it needs a new fan and pump, which pump is easy but fan impossible to get.
Can I upgrade to an Ecoflam MXE burner using my existing twin burner cooker?
Thanks

I've seen recon Rayburns fitted with the Ecoflam units. I suggest getting a full spec sheet for sizes and doing a bit of measuring. Electrics are no problem.
www.abgo.co.uk may be able to help. They sell all the bits.

If you need to ask anyone, the obvious choice is Ecoflam, EOGB do not make anything remotely like this specialist piece of kit, but they will only refer you to Rayburn as it is a specific item for them. Abgo will be able to tell you if the Ecoflam unit is available. The one problem I can see is whether the stud that holds the blast tube mounting flange on the Ecoflam is in the right place, or can be adapted. I dread to think how much one of these would cost.

I've worked on loads of Ecoflam burners but was told by someone that you can't just stick a Ecoflam set into the old MX 480k cooker. Don't know why, but they said I need the "retrofit" burner as it fits the old cooker. But these are about 1600 quid a pop!

As I said, Abgo may have some other options re spares, give them a ring.
