I'm building a garden wall that will pass directly across the main sewer in our test garden.
I was going to drop two concrete pads either side about 10 inches away from the pipe and site two lintels on top of these pads to protect the sewer before putting the concrete fittings on top.
I realise now I'll need to get a build over permit first.
So before I contact the water board could anyone give me some advice on what they would expect construction wise to protect the sewer, would what I planned keep them happy or so they expect something far more substantial.
I'm guessing the process for the build over permit is straight forward?
Thanks,
Poe.
