My apparently is me not having first hand experience of this but having it on good information. Ask around it's common knowledge
So it is rumour. If a maker rejects a guarantee they had better put it in writing stating where the installation is flawed. If it is not, a sharp email pointing out where they are wrong, and that if they do not honour the guarantee legal action will be pursued, and that you will go for costs if you are forced into the legal route. They will take the easy way out and fix it in 99% of cases.

Who will fix a boiler under guarantee that is baldly, poor, not to standard etc? No and they don't is not good enough.
Who is this maker who approves of cowboy installed equipment?
When did anyone say anything about approve of it?
There are manufactures who will honour their warranties and be loyal to their customers without causing a fuss and needing to be sharpened up.
Just something for the OP to consider after reading through the relentless posts plugging one manufacturer.

Again..
Who will fix a boiler under guarantee that is baldly, poor, not to standard etc? No and they don't is not good enough.

Quite easy to understand.

You're right it is 'quite easy to understand'

Bbbbuuuuttttt

I'm not going to give you the easy answer. Maybe your homework could be to find out for yourself!

Shouldn't be hard for you

Just as easy to make uniformed general statements with no basis in fact.

Many will fix a boiler under warranty that has defects, physical or procedural.

We explain, fix under warranty and then turn off with the customers signature on an At Risk form.

Often we will not fix again if the defect is not remedied but that depends on the defect.

Customer sees the badge of the boiler not their own stupidity in going for the cheapest Non-Gr installer or cash job. Protect the badge.

Always cover yourself. The Intergas boilers can be fitted as open vent or system (the pressure vessel must remain in place), the only combis that can be fitted as either. But nothing in the manual says that. Ring them, they say so. I sent them a nice email after a phone conversation, confirming what they said, with names and times. Then they cannot come back and say they disown it as it is not stated in the manual.
you are talking absolute shoite

Oh so you are saying you will fix a poorly installed boiler to protect a brand, but will turn it off leaving a warning notice? Yes? Then if not fixed next time, you walk out? Yes? So after your first visit the customer has no heat.

No sunshine, Intergas boilers can be open vent or pressurised. Give them a call.

In the intergas manual it does state you can fit in the various types of system. Warranty is valid regardless, and you do not have to call intergas to get approval.

They can always refuse the isolation. They then have heat
