does anyone know how to change the day on the new British Gas programmer, I have the instructions book but no reference in there how to do,thanks the day is saying Thursday it’s a DCP dual channel programmer

Most digital heating programmers sold within the last five years, say, will automatically switch from GMT to BST.

You need to set the date and year right to display the correct day.
To do this press the menu button (the middle one with 3 lines on it)
Turn dial to settings, press dial twice.
Turn the dial to set the year then press dial.
Repeat for month, date, hour, minutes then finally press the green tick button which should now be lit up to save your settings.
The display should now be showing the correct day.
You are right it doesn't tell you how to do it in the instructions. I have just rigged one up out of my van to see for you because they normally set themselves up automatically when I have fitted one.
