Why do you need them? They're meant to be screwed through the wall into a female coupler (wall plate elbow) once the final wall is finished. They allow some play if you don't get the coupler in the right place.
IMO it's best having copper tails through the wall at 150mm centres/dead level, if it's for a standard bar shower, and then use a shower fitting kit.
Tiler needs to cut close to the pipe though and enough adhesive behind the cutout, so the tile doesn't crack when you drill or when the plug is in and it's getting tightened up.

It's not really a bar shower. It's a bath tap that is like a bar shower that needs fitting. And the finish wall is plastic panelling. I wasn't sure whether the stand bar shower fixing kit would be strong enough to take the weight of this tap.

As per @denso13, they're the fitting kit that would be used for a bar shower. Perfectly good fittings, just make sure there's something directly at the back of the panelling that can take the screws to mount them properly - thick piece of ply or wood - that will stand up to the constant use of the tap over time.
Thanks its a solid wall behind the panelling. The panelling is the type that is hollow in the middle that's why I am concerned.

The ones I fitted were exactly the same. Hollow plastic panels that looked like tiles with solid timber behind. Still looking good.
