Anyone know where to get a replacement touch screen sensor for my Hotpoint MP676IXH built in combi microwave please?

I've just purchased it from ao.com and it's great for the £350 price, however when using it for the first time I noticed the touch screen on/off button didn't work correctly, requiring multiple presses for it to respond.

ao.com organised a Hotpoint repair engineer to visit, and he took the top off the appliance and replaced the sensor behind the touch screen button, now it works perfectly.

He left behind the old sensor and the box for the new sensor that he fitted, and I'd like to know where to buy a replacement incase I need one in the future after the warranty has expired. It looked an easy job to DIY....

Thanks, on their exploded diagram I assume its the part labelled '356 1', but typing this into their part finder doesn't find it in their store. The closest I can find is a Control Unit Assembly at £131.99 but surely that can't be it??

Is there a different part number please? Theres loads of reference numbers on the packaging and I'm not sure which one it is

Thanks.

That's the one!

There's two part numbers for the same part , c00546354 and J00326931

There's generally no point buying parts 'just in case' as you can guarantee the spare parts you have won't be the ones that go faulty!

Thanks, £131 is expensive for a tiny touch screen sensor/circuit board. I'll wait until I need one, and then buy a new oven instead :D
