I need to fit one of these flexible pan connectors by Mcalpine as the wall female pipe connector is slightly out of alignment. Are these safe to use and they do not clog on the accordion ridges ?

What's your experience?

McAlpine have spent millions on development to come up with these designs. As long as they are used properly and don't run up hill then there's noting wrong with them.

Ideally though where possible you should exhaust every alternative rigid connector just to make sure that one of them cannot be used to overcome the misalignment before using a flexible connector. There are lots of offset rigid connectors, one may work.

Agree with Rob, nothing wrong with them when fitted correctly.

As Madrab says above they work ok if installed correctly. The only issue I have come across with them a few times ,is rats in the sewers and in only ground floor wc's installations.
As they are not rigid ,they allow light thru ,and rats head towards the light, then start to chew through the thin plastic " concertina " section.
To counter this possibility ,a one way valve is fitted ,where the pan connector meets the rigid soil pipe.

Fleeping heck, I've never heard of rats in the soil pipe! That's scary. Well, the alternative to the flexible one I've tried was the 20mm offset connected to the short Mcalpine connector as in photos.
The rigit connector though it tends to slip out of the back of the toilet and did not feel very safe about it unless I put a piece of wood behind to keep it in place but it could also be the silicone spray I used on the rubber seal to make it slip in easier...

Also makes it slip off easily !
No lube on the pan connector to pan outlet ,maybe a little water if really need be.
Pan connector to soil pipes ok to lubricate a little.

Yup, the point of the seal is to stay tight to the spigot, any lubrication will allow that seal to pop off the spigot. Went to one DIY jobbie where the customer had used vaseline, cause his neighbour has recommended using it, every time they flushed the toilet the connector would fly off by the rush of water. Wasn't a pretty sight
