When my neighbour got a new kitchen about 10 years ago I gave him a few £ for his (serviceable) Prima F in case I needed any spares. Of course I haven't, mine is highly praised each service visit.

Its taking up space in the garage and I wonder about dismantling it to create a little more. Will any parts be worth saving after 10 years dormant or will internal waterway corrosion have taken its toll?

Plus it'll give me something to do.....

Many Thanks indeed.

Bullet proof cast iron HEX and if the system is kept nice and clean then keep it going. Not very efficient but if you are happy with the energy costs then no reason to change.
Spares, not really .... if anything then the gas valve may still be serviceable if the boiler is the same size and it's the same part number.

I'd keep the fan, pcb, control thermostat and gas valve. The plastic case bottom on these gets very brittle over time so if that's in good nick, keep it as well. If your boiler does need parts, you'll need someone gas registered to fit them for you and I don't think you'll get any warranty on the repair.
