Hi
One of my bedrooms is going to re-carpeted soon but there are oversized gaps between some of the floor boards. These were caused when central heating was installed in the past and they cut through the tongue and groove.

Some of these gaps did show up as lines in the old carpet, so I'd like to fill them before the new carpet arrives. What would you recommend please, can I just use flexible frame sealer?

Thanks
Robin

I wouldn’t bother trying to fill. I would overboard with plywood. Carpet fitter will love for that as well.

6mm plywood is best but you could use
Uzin PE630 or Fball prime and fill. Works well for filling holes in wood.

There you go Robin , take your pick of any of those choices all will do the job for you.
