Outside lights

Ok I have PIR outside light led 8watt, the power for this comes from fused connection switch in kitchen, there is light switch which operates the outside light, I want add another PIR light daisy chain from the first light. I am quite confident in doing this, what I want to know if the 5 amp fuse in the fused connection switch is ok for thses 2 lights. The second light will be the same 8watt led equivalent to 100w halogen I think.
The fused connection swtich was run of the ring main circuit , installed by a electrician who had fitted my kitchen , he had done this on my request for a outside light. I just want to know if the 5amp fuse will be ok for 2x 8 w led security lights

2x8W = 16W
5A @ 230V == 1150W

so yes plenty of margin.

It is only the light from it which is 'equivalent'. A Watt is a Watt.

you can have (about) a hundred and forty-three 8W bulbs on that FCU.

Should you so desire.
