Hi everyone,

I'm working on a mini project by re-finishing a coffee table. Unfortunately I don't know the type of wood I'm working on (see image below). I have sanded it down using 80 grit sandpaper.

I wanted to achieve a finish like THIS, but have no idea as to what products I would need to use. Are you able to advise? On the link it says that it is "wood stained natural oak."

Thank you & I would sincerely appreciate any advice.

Cheers,
Ducky

link is to mango wood?
You could danish oil then clear wax for similar finish, do section on the underside to make sure you are happy with finish.
For slightly darker finish light oak [spirit based]wood dye mixed with danish oil, again test on under side , finish with clear wax.

Thank you Foxhole. Much appreciated.

Yes the product in the link is made of mango wood (image below).

Sorry one more question - Would it be possible to recommend a specific product for the "clear wax?" I searched online & there are plenty of variations so I was wondering exactly which one I should use to achieve the desired finish?
