This is a decent piece of kit, according to Auto Express.

It says price around £175, but I can only find it at Amazon, for much more.

Has anyone got one of these, or can they recommend a reliable, reasonably cheap one?

I'm put off from buying the likes of Karcher as there are shed-loads of reviews and videos slating them as a cheap badly-built machine you pay a premium for.

I've got a Karcher, K7 I think, had it about ten years and last year, I had to replace about £100 quids worth of parts, lance, pressure switch etc.
That was the first time it let me down but it doesn't get a great deal of use.

There is one being sold by Aldi at the moment for £80 and for an 80 quid machine the spec looks impressive, good size motor, long hose. See if you can find any reviews online, but at that price I'd get one and be happy if I got 2 years out of it.

I would have ordered Spear & Jackson one if Argos website had been working. We have one of their mowers that seems realy good quality & now I'm looking for a new pressure washer so thought I would give them a go. No doubt it's badged up but it has a reasonable price & 3 year warranty. Must say that Aldi one looks good I'll have to check it out, unfortunately not available on line & no nearby stores.

Thanks fellas.
If I can get to Aldi for shopping, I'll have a look. They do look good at that price, and Which? like them too.
I'll also peruse Argos.

Check out Nilfisk pressure washers. AFAIK they used to be industrial only but branched into domestic a while ago. They seem to get good reviews. Ours is a fairly basic one but has worked great for a couple of years, and has bags more oomph than next door's (new) basic Karcher. It came with handy things like a long hose and a power adjuster on the lance.

Aldi one looks quite good for the price. Got a couple of Ferrex power tools, (table top belt sander with integrated disc sander, 16" scroll saw and something else I can't remember because I haven't used it for a while. LOL), and they are not bad for DIY.
The thing I like about this washer is the hose reel. Got a Karcher, (not sure of model but got 3 different nozzles), and the worst thing is the hard supply pipe to the lance. It coils itself no matter how many times you try to uncoil it and is as stiff as hell!

Yes they bought out Kew the original domestic washer company when they had problems, if I remember properly.
