Lets hope he finds something more useful to say, than the government made lots of mistakes. Hind sight is such great wisdom.
Kier Starmer has to play a careful game, he will be shot down for politicising.

Any government will make mistakes, not all governments make errors borne out of ideology or incompetence.

Foresight is even better.

It would have been great if the UK had prior warning from say a country that was building massive hospitals in a hurry.(y)

That's b o l l o X, and I thought you were intelligent enough to know that.
The UK ain't China, and neither is its people.
Hundreds are dying every day from CV and are plastered all over the news, yet idiots still sunbathe (packed like sardines), bugger off to their holiday homes, or sneak into their local, for clandestine lock-ins.

What chance a meaningful lockdown here, because someone halfway across the world "got the flu off a bat"?

well we will have to see how Kier does

think he is smart enough to know that the working class labour voter could not give a flying wat sit about some transgenda fruit cakes rights

I note Holland and Sweden, based on medical advice are going down the 'herd immunity' route.

To work, it needs comprehensive testing.

What proportion of their population are they testing?

In early April, UK at last claims it managed to reach 10,000 a day out of 60 million.

That's one in six thousand. It's possible there is not a single person in your borough that has been tested.

Germany is testing at 50,000 a day, and so far has performed at least 918,460 (figures are still coming in).
Out of 83 million. That's one in 90. Probably one in every street or apartment block.

The British government on Wednesday said a total of 152,979 people have been tested in the UK.

one in six thousand? or one in ninety? One is bad. One is good.

The UK is handling this crisis badly.
