Hi, I turned the shower on this morning and there was only a trickle from the hot water. There is usually a surge and then there is pressure. Has the pump stopped working or could it be something else?

Need more information than that

What kind of shower?
What kind of pump?
Is your hot water gravity fed?
Are you getting your usual water pressure from other hot water outlets?

Hi, it is a Bristan mixer shower. Hot and cold water running as normal. I can’t find any pump and have looked near the hot cylinder and in the loft. When you turn on the shower it sounded like the pump is under the bath and the panel is tiled. I will have to remove the panel to investigate. It gravity fed.
I live in a bungalow.
Thanks Dave

This is the mixer

Is the pump making any noise?
Check to make sure its hasn't been unplugged / switched off before damaging tiles.

Thank you all for your help and advice.
I’ll investigate to see if the pump is under the bath.
Are pumps usually installed under the bath, and is it safe to put it their?
Thanks Dave

Yes it's the standard place to install them , check power going to the pump and any filters too as they may be blocked

o_O erm ... sorry .... but I have to disagree there. They are found there yes but wouldn't suggest it's the standard .... it's the last place I'd put one TBH, especially with it being sealed in.

Why would it be the last place for you?

There's space under a bath , that's where the hot water feed to a mixer shower is normally teed from so easy to connect to the pump , it's easy to hide and running a cable is no more difficult than any other location.

Most manufacturers, if not all, recommend that they should go as close to the HW cylinder as possible. Of course if there is no space you'll have to find somewhere else.
