Hi all,

Our shower works fine, but the pressure isn't great (although not sure how much better it could be with our baby WB 24i combi boiler), and the mixer is a little finicky with fine temperature adjustments. I'm wondering if anyone would be able to identify it, for the purpose of perhaps replacing the cartridge (if possible), or replacing it altogether (if possible without butchering all the tiles).

The previous owner of our house before we bought it said that the bathroom was refitted in 1991, and I'm assuming this includes the shower.

If there isn't much that can be done without tearing the lot out and replacing it, is it ever likely to fail to the point where it won't let me adjust temperature, or just start leaking?

Thank you!

Impressive. I'm guessing replacing that won't be possible without ripping off tiles, though?

Thanks.

Are these mixers known to be particularly reliable (or unreliable)?
