Are we allowed to give items away?

I haven't seen a for sale section on the forum so I'm presuming this isn't allowed. Are we allowed to give items away if a person only pays for sensible postage and packing?

Nothing, I have a propane regulator for patio gas which I cant use anymore, so wondered if someone wanted it. It's brand new in a box. Was bought as a spare a year ago or so.

Well I found it in the cupboard today and was going to recycle it, but what with lockdown and everything, I'm sure they are needed by someone, somewhere. I might pop a post under general if thats allowed.

Reuse groups like Freegle have paused their assisting people to give things away because its not essential that you make a journey, esp to pick up something like a gas regulator.

Put it in a cupboard, leave a reminder note and pass it on when all this is over with.

You could place it on gumtree local in the freebie section. It’s never been as busy with tips closed and people cleaning out the unwanted. Just a thought!
