hi all I've got an armatage shanks toilet that keeps running after the flush ( probably seal) however I can't for the life of me get the cistern lid off. It should just lift off but for some reason it seems stuck at the back I can lift the front up a few centimetres and see there's nothing catching it's just seems to be the back edge that's stuck. Anybody any ideas? Tia

To remove the cistern lid would be done by either one of the following:

The video above is not correct, you need to remove the 2 push buttons then unscrew the centre screw to lift the cistern up.

Ive fitted a Sandringham 51 and the lid lifted straight off.
Take out the 2 push buttons and post a picture.

Cut the silicone along the back edge of the lid/wall
