Grafting, Hawthorne as rootstock

Early last Autumn I had some Pear prunings so tried chip budding onto a small Hawthorne tree. Ive had a look and 6 out of 7 have grown so if anyone intrested in this sort of thing.. why not have a go

Interesting combination. Presumably you'll get a crop of prickly pears (opuntia)
