Wallpaper problem

I know what you're saying about it drying out some more, some things you know won't look any better.

I suppose if you could see this paper fitted professionally somewhere else in real life, you could compare it.

I can see you are disappointed, it is disappointing.

The seams and pattern are at least consistent and uniform - which to me would be some consolation.

I do worked for an interior designer. She supplies papers to clients, similar to the ones in the photos. Her customer's decorator fit the paper and when I've been to fit the blinds etc.. their paper looks to have the same effect.

It must be a designers thing. Looks great on the roll and as a sample but when butted together doesn’t look the best . I’m thinking of stripping it all off.

Another thought actually. Would normal emulsion stick to the paper? It’s a foil textured vinyl.

Off topic, but can't resist it.

I recall a householder bought some rolls of wallpaper with a very distinct pattern, and then got a blinds company to make a roller blind with the exact same pattern.

The wallpaper went up, then the roller blind was delivered - and the pattern on the blind was the other way up to the paper on the wall.

Oh dear :/. Bit unfortunate :/
