if your querying someones work fair enough but if you don't know you should not be fiddling with the fire system.

No it’s a diy in my house I’ve installed it using the red fire alarm cable but was gonna add another bell on separate circuit but using alarm wire thanks

It’s a home diy

Must be quite a home to have that fire alarm system fitted.

The problem you may have is that a fire melts the "alarm" wire to the new bell and short circuits the supply to that bell. This could result in the supply to all the bells being short circuited and hence none of the bells sound.

Have you asked the manufacturer for their advice ? Email [email protected]

Lol like I said this is just a diy at home just wanted to make sure because of the voltage (didn’t want to cause a fire) but it’s been answered thanks

If you've gone to all that trouble and expense to install a fire alarm, why do you want to save a few pounds on inferior cable that will melt in a fire?
