Thank you. And if I go for the 3m straight version, would it be okay behind a wall for about 1.8m without any intermediate wall clips? I would use copper but my loft ceiling not high enough to feed it down so need a tiny bit of flex in the pipe to get it down. I will clip at both ends.

1. Vertical run should have pipe clips at 500 mm / 800 mm intervals for 15 mm / 22 mm pipe respectively.
2. There should be no clips within 60 mm of a fitting. This is to stop expansion / contraction pulling the pipe out of the fitting.
3. If you are considering running a pipe between the two leaves of a cavity wall you run a serious risk of pipe freezing. Its an absolute no no for gas pipes.
 
It is a void between a non external brick wall and cement board which was mounted onto battens. My plumber was happy to run a gas pipe down there!
