Hi all,

I had a new boiler fitted a while back, along with a magnaclean (or the Ideal equivalent) but for reasons of aesthetics I had the guy fit the magnaclean in the return pipe a couple of meters away from the boiler, where it would be behind an access panel in the boxing for my wall hung toilet. All good and looks nice and tidy.

If I want to tee a new radiator into the flow and return, is it acceptable to do it after the magnaclean on the return line?

Yeah that's what I'm thinking...

2 choices -

1. relocate magnaclean to just under the boiler, ugly.
2. run the new pipes round to before the magnaclean but it's a bit of a pain.

I could actually just move it to below the boiler but under the counter, but I'd have to pull the tumble dryer out to get to it. Not the end of the world but not exactly elegant.

Decisions decisions.
