Hi, hope everyone's keeping well. I would appreciate some advice.

Our house came with an old FireBird boiler which is well and truly dead. My Dad recently converted to gas (not available in my area) so has a Grant Euroflame 70/90 Boiler sitting unused in his garage. It's only 2-3 years old and has been well maintained. He's offered it to us, which would be a great money saver.

The Grant was used in my parent's garage, but with our set up it would need to go outside in its own housing. Online I think I've seen Euroflame 70/90s with outdoor housing units but I can't seem to be able to find the housing sold separately since I already have the boiler. Is there any reason why I can't just buy external housing for the boiler and get it installed outside where our FireBird currently sits? Does anyone know how I could best go about this?

Thanks very much for your advice,
Daniel (based outside of Lisburn, Northern Ireland)

I think the Euroflame is a fair bit older than 2 or 3 years. What is the flue configuration?

Build a suitable non flammable enclosure with adequate access for maintenance.
