Had a small leak on live side of valve on a towel rad. Drained system taped up not put towel rad back up. Turned off valves on towel rad. Filled system. All good. Put leak sealer in to towel rad because i lose pressure very slowly so i assume ive s miniscule leak somewhere hidden. However when i turned valves on to towel rad and turned on heating the towel rad along with one other rad didnt heat. Its not the pressure in the system that's the problem. If i bleed it for long enuff hot water cones thru. But still only luke warm. Is it possible the sealer(tec7 plumb) has blocked or partially blocked pipework?

Both valves are working properly. There doesnt seem to be anymore qir in system. Waters comin thru. If i bleed for long enuff tge water becomes hot.

Is your system pressurised / sealed ,or open vented with a feed and expansion tank ?
If you turn off the TRV ( or wheel head) valve ,on all other radiators except the towel rad ,does it then heat up ?
But do not touch the lockshield valves on any of the rads you turn off.

Its a sealed system. I drained system again. Took off towel rad. Refilled system with towel rad off. All seems to be heating. Going to put back up towel rad and see if it all works. Is itvpossible for an airlock in pipework to have caused it but still be allowing a small amoubt of water thru? Surely if water was getting thruit would of pulled the air thru when bleeding.

While rad is off ,open each of it's valves to make sure water comes out of both ,at a fair rate.

Water came out botg valves fine. Put it up heated straight away. So hopefully the problem is solved. Tho i didnt do anything differently than the first time
