Hole in sewage half pipe - how to repair?

Hi,
My first post so my apologies if I've got the technical terms wrong.
Just doing some general maintenance and after lifting the manhole cover, noticed a very small hole where the waste from the kitchen exits. When testing water does flow down the little hole unfortunately.
Is this a fix for concrete, epoxy resin or a complete don't try it? The pipes are clay rather than plastic.

Through channel or channel junction.

It can be repaired with a strong sand/cement mortar but would need to be whilst the chamber is not in use. Like when you are planning to go away for a week.

If its a common line then you're stuffed unless you can get some rapid set and a bung.

Not seeing any piccies.

Get a 100mm bung and stick it in the inlet just after tea and do the repair with some external rapid set tile adhesive. Should be ok by morning. Strong mix mortar will likely be just as good this time of year.
