That cable in the shed is not suitable for outside use.

You could use armoured cable but this is lighter and easier for overhead applications
https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/NY2dot5slash3.html you can buy it by the metre.
You can string it up using a catenary wire. The whole selection of parts is here
https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/tcl/search?query=catenary&Submit=Search
you just need to order what you need for your application.

Next, and more importantly, how did you plan to connect electricity to the cable?

I was going to run the cable over and do all the main bits and get a spark in to connect it up as have a little unit in the garage hopefully fit an rcd

Don't need an RCD if the supply in the house already has one.

Yes, but where will you run the end of the cable to connect inside the house.

best of luck finding a spark who can be bothered to connect up. Best to find one before you start.

I was just going to take off the back of this socket on the garage ring, and run it over via the same system to have linked me to.

Are those two MCBs on left spare?

If so, your best option is to use one of those to power to the shed.

BUT

the 2.5mm² cable I specified is too small for a 32A supply. You have two options
1. Change the breaker for a 20amp one (must be a CPN one)
2. Use 4mm Cable.
https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/NY4slash3.html

but this is really circuit design territory. You should be using an electrician to tell you exactly what your options are.

Indeed, and another 'BUT' (and another reason for engaging a 'self-certifying' electrician if one went down that route) is that, even though those MCBs are 'already there', I imagine that most people would say that connecting something (the first and only something) to them would constitute creating a 'new circuit' - hence notifiable.

Kind Regards, John
