Enforcer Alarm - DIY or Not...

Fortunately I did fit an led unit and I’ve not had any false alarms so I am very grateful for all the help and support you all have provided.

And they drain the main battery ! Best to fit the dummy led unit or better wire the bell to a 12v supply
Mines been fitted almost 5 years and never had a problem. I’ve changed the batteries approx every 2 years as advised. You saying you’ve had problems when the batteries are not changed every 2 years?

Having the comfort leds ON the bell box will shorten the bellbox battery life

But ok if you change the batteries every 2 years? Can you a little more specific please as I'm a little confused by this.

Waste of batteries

10 year life span in the battery when you’ve not got it going like a disco

Gibbies I’m glad you replied so I got an email notification about this

No idea how my phone does this but I didn’t meant to say 10 years!!

Average I’ve seen before a battery warning is about 4 (FOUR) years but I’ve had just over 5 before a warning too

cheers
